Happy Christmas Eve Eve Eve Eve! And Happy Friday! For a lot of people this is the last day of work before the big day and their Christmas is now in full swing. And those who are will continue working through the festive period are on the home stretch. My plans for the day are watching another three Christmas movies and eating all the tree chocolates I can see from the sofa. There are currently four packs worth on the tree, with another two in the kitchen as refills. I’m going to eat a lot a chocolate today (no regrets).
This year I’m a bit all over the place with gifts. I finished shopping for my best friend back in October (I cannot tell you what I got in case she stumbles onto this post). On the other hand I currently have one, very small present for my mum and that’s all (I definitely cannot tell you what it is as my mum will read this; #biggestfan, love ya mamma bear). The good news is that for me, today is payday! And so I have put together my last minute gift guide for those who are now rushing around like me, trying to get the perfect present for their number ones. There’s a fair few pieces listed below, so we should probably get started.

This is likely to feature on all the gift guides I ever post. Chanel’s Coco Mademoiselle fragrance has been my scent since I was eleven years old. I fell in love with the campaigns that Keira Knightley starred in, and asked for the perfume for that years Christmas gift. My dad later told me that the sales assistants were very confused by my choice, and tried to persuade him to get me the Barbie perfume instead. Thanks for ignoring them Dad. Personal history aside, this perfume is simply gorgeous, chic and sophisticated.

River Island launched their homeware sector this year. This piece is so stunningly beautiful and is an absolute steal in the sale.

Inspired by my own present last year, this journal will teach you how to master modern calligraphy. It is a really lovely skill to have, whether you are a creative or just using it in day-to-day life.

Firstly, Mum, if you’re reading this, you are not getting a Gucci bag. Maybe next year. Anyway, I’ve included this stunning shoulder bag because of how much I want it. This gorgeous colour is my favourite in the Marmont range and will add a little luxe to any outfit.

These beautiful earrings from Pandora are plated in 18c gold. They supposedly symbolise love and luck and are a perfect blend of whimsical and classic.

These mules are already everywhere on instagram and are perfect for the fashion girl. The tiny heel means that they are wearable for everyone, and they are super affordable too.

This book was going to be on my Wishlist, but I decided I couldn’t wait until Christmas Day so went ahead and bought it myself. I’ve followed Victoria’s blog, InTheFrow, for several years now and I really love her style and content. Her background is completely rooted in fashion, and so this book is so much more than the standard blogger books that get released. This is a must for any fashion students, InTheFrow fans or general fashion fans. Oh, and its also half price on Amazon now – get it before they sell out!

Jo Malone candles are a common staple in every gift guide going, and have a huge fanbase. I’ve picked out the Pomegranate Noir candle in the useful travel size – perfect for maintaining an air of relaxation wherever the user is.

I must admit, I was not previously familiar with Olivia von Halle. But when I was browsing Net-A-Porter I stumbled across these luxurious silk-satin pyjamas and fell in love. I adore the soft blue colour too.

I’ve seen this piece advertised in the Disney store for a few months now. Sold on Disney’s website, this incredible wall art by IXXI is the art girls take on a childhood classic. If Minnie’s not your loved one’s favourite character then keep an eye on the website as they release different characters periodically – earlier in the year they had a wonderful print of Alice in Wonderland.

The most practical gifts are often the most appreciated, and most used. This 2019 diary is stylish and practical, perfect for the organisers and the should be more organised alike.

A cult favourite for a reason, this Gucci belt is not going out of style anytime soon. The classic version of the belt is usually the safest bet, but if you are buying for a fashion girl with particular style there are loads of variations available from the Gucci gang.

My mum and I go to Biscter Village fairly frequently, and whilst we don’t have the budget for it, we always wonder around the Dolce & Gabbana store. I always love their scarves and this timeless piece is a perfect entry piece to the brand.

This muted pink body bag from River Island is as practical as it is beautiful. It will go with numerous outfits and is currently on sale for all of £18 – bargain!

Another piece from River Islands home collection, this vibrant cushion is a wow item for any lounge or bedroom. As with the rest of the RI pieces on this list it is now on sale for a neat £20.

This charm is one of the new releases from Pandora’s Disney collaboration. Released in anticipation of the new film adaptation, this umbrella belongs to the practically perfect in every way Mary Poppins. It is beautiful and classic, a great addition to any charm bracelet or necklace. And it’s selling like hot cakes too!

This beautifully designed card game is a perfect little stocking filler guaranteeing fun and inspiration. Available now at Paperchase, this card game is beautifully illustrated and feminist-approved.

Coffee table books are fantastic presents for everyone, and Fashion in Film is a beautiful and classic example. This is currently top of my list, combining the two things I love the most; films and fashion.

Victoria’s Secret offers lots of lustable pieces, but for many the idea of going in to buy underwear or similar items can be uncomfotable, embarrassing and confusing (how many men know which size or style of bra is appropriate for their other half?!). This shimmering kimono is a safe purchase and a glamorous gift.
Phew, we made it! I hope that this list has inspired you and given you ideas on what to get for the ladies in your life – or has inspired your next purchase for you (2018’s been a b*tch, you deserve a treat). Let me know which items you really love in the comments down below. At the end of the week I will be releasing a super last minute beauty gift guide for anyone still stuck on what to get the beauty lovers in their lives.
I hope you enjoy a festive weekend, have a mulled wine on me!
