The London leg of fashion month is known for showcasing new designers and the edgy styles Londoners are known for. I tend to gravitate towards feminine, classic designs and my dream is that one day I will be able to wear a different princess gown every day (so far its just money, confidence, social norms and practicality standing in my way). Hence you can see why, if I’m being honest, that LFW is the part of fashion week I look forward to the least. However, this season has pleasantly surprised me. There are a number of collections I found exciting, possibly due to the tangible shake up which occurred, with the new creative direction of brands like Burberry to Victoria Beckham’s triumphant homecoming.
