All I Want For Christmas Is…

YOOUUU! Look I’ll be honest. I’ll do this quick like I’m ripping off a plaster (a bandaid, for my friends across the pond). I don’t want you for Chrtismas. I’m sure you’re lovely. But I’ve got other things in mind. This year has treated me awfully, and I think Santa owes me one – or two, or three…

Each year I’ve provided each parent with a detailed list of what I would like for Christmas. Each year, I might get a couple of things but I usually end up receiving the ‘I thought you might like it’ gifts. This year, I have emailed a list to my father, complete with links and advisory notes about each sites Black Friday deals (yes, I am this prepared). For my mother I now make private Pinterest boards, for her eyes only. All she needs to do is click the photo as she’s taken directly to the product on the site – genius. I know this approach has worked for my mother so far, with her dropping hints and having me hiding round the corner of the Charlotte Tilbury counter whilst she gave her list to the sales assistant.

My Christmas list is pretty indicative of my favourite brands, as well as a few things I usually buy myself and then feel guilty about! Lets jump in:

Charlotte Tilbury Highlighter Palette: Bar of Gold; £49

Charlotte Tilbury has been my favourite beauty brand for a while now. I’m slowly building up a collection of all the best seller products. I love using the award-winning Filmstar Bronze and Glow contour palette (I use light to medium, see here) so I was really excited when the brand announced the new Bar of Gold palette.

Charlotte Tilbury Magical Mini Makeup Brush Set; £45

This mini makeup brush set is absolutely perfect for travelling and I’m hoping to go on more adventures in 2019. I love the clutch style.

Charlotte Tilbury Luxury Palette of Pops in Starlight; £39

In each of Charlotte’s eyeshadow sets there is a ‘Pop’ colour for the middle of the eye, usually in a gorgeous glittery shade. I was so excited to see this palette in the Christmas edition release. I’ve chosen the Starlight shades as they will best suit my skin tone, but in truth I’m obsessed with the colours in the Supersonic Girl palette (see here).

Pandora & Disney Mickey Floating Locket Necklace; £125

Anyone who knows me knows just how much I love Disney. Whenever I’m at the shops I have to go in, the stores atmosphere, music and general joy soothes my soul. I’ve loved the brands collaboration with Pandora to create the most beautiful pieces imaginable. I already have a charm bracelet with a few of my favourite characters, but I knew I had to have this necklace when it was released. On its own, the Mickey necklace is delightful. But what makes it really special is that you can buy charms to go inside the necklace – see this Minnie charm for example.

Pandora & Disney Aurora’s Signature Colour Murano Charm; £25

Also from the Pandora & Disney range is this beautiful charm in Aurora’s Signature colour. I love this beautiful pink, and its also in the sale at 37% off!

Boots, Harry Potter Swish and Flick Cosmetic Brushes; £20

If there’s one thing I love more than Disney, its Harry Potter. I read the first book when I was five (I was quite the bookworm) and the series became an enormous part of my childhood and adolescence. I’m also, as you can probably tell by now, a keen fan of anything rose gold. I think you can make the connection for why this brush set is at the top of my lust list.

Boots, Harry Potter Hedwig Lip Balm; £6

Also from Boots’ Harry Potter range is this adorable Hedwig Lip Balm. I can see mum getting this as an adorable stocking filler for me, and I cannot wait to throw this straight into my handbag.

Waterstones Get Your Sh*t Together Journal (Paperback); £14.99

I hadn’t been to Waterstones for months until I went looking for presents for my brother. I laughed out loud at the title of this journal in the shop, and its so relevant for me at the moment.

John Lewis, Elizabeth Arden Superstart Boost Your Skincare Gift Set; £36

My skin has been terrible this year, and shows no signs of improving soon. Elizabeth Arden’s Superstart range are some of the only products which provide any kind of relief. I’ve asked my dad for this nifty gift set, complete with the booster, pods and a face mask.

Cath Kidston Sketchbook Bloom Bedding Set; £45

The last item I asked for this Christmas is this gorgeous bedding from Cath Kidston. I love having a few sets of bedding at any one time so I can chose what I feel like at the time, and almost all of my linen now comes from Cath Kidston. I love the pinks and greens in this particular set.

I hope you’ve enjoyed navigating through my Christmas Wishlist for 2018. You can check back after the big day to see which bits I was lucky enough to get. Let me know what you are asking for in the comments below, I love hearing what everyone is hoping to get!

Thank you for reading, have a fantastic rest of the week.

Sophie xx
